Simply place your wool cover over your baby carrier. Fasten the tabs with snap buttons around the shoulder straps at the top, making it compatible with most common baby carriers and wraps. For a snug fit on the sides, wrap the lower tabs around the waistband and close them with the snap buttons as well. The drawstring at the bottom allows you to adjust the shape of the cover for optimal warmth and protection.

Our wool: pure nature, craftsmanship, and love for detail

A home by the Elbe for true protectors of nature:
Our wool begins its journey in the Lower Saxony Mecklenburg border region, where our sheep roam freely across meadows and help maintain the dikes. They live in their natural environment as part of an organic certified landscape conservation farm along the Elbe. This way of keeping animals is deeply important to us and reflected in every fiber of our wool: respect for animals and nature, honesty, and quality.

Craftsmanship from the Elbe to the Bavarian Forest:
The journey of our wool is long and carefully considered. First, it is washed in a GOTS certified laundry in Belgium using pure soda lye, completely free from harsh chemicals and handled with great care to preserve the soft natural structure of the fibers. Afterwards, the wool travels to Brandenburg, where the yarn is spun. In a traditional cloth mill in the Bavarian Forest, now run by the 11th generation, the yarn is transformed into loden fabric. This plush loden is lovingly woven rather than knitted for exceptional stability and durability. Finally, the fabric returns to Lower Saxony, where it is sewn into your finished babywearing cover with care and attention to every detail. Made in Germany.

The self cleaning power of wool:

Wool naturally cleans itself. Simply airing it out is often enough and washing is rarely necessary. This works because of the fiber structure: the water repellent outer layer allows moisture vapor into the fiber core where it can absorb up to 30% moisture without feeling wet. The movement of the fibers helps release dirt particles naturally, keeping your wool fresh and clean.

Care instructions:

Use a hand wash or wool wash cycle. Spot clean gently by hand if needed. Use wool detergent or a teaspoon of shampoo with lukewarm water. Gently press out excess water without wringing and dry flat.
